Important things to know before visiting Taj mahal
1. Time Selection -Taj mahal is a famous monument in all the world because of its beauty. almost 20000 to 250000 visitors visits every day in the taj mahal but there are certain things to know before going to taj mahal.
2. Best month :- Before going to taj mahal first thing select which time you want to visit the taj mahal and the month. Taj mahal do changes its colour because of its white colour, so due to the natural light effect the Monument turns its color. Generally people often visit taj in the sunrise time ( times changes according to month) because in the morning there are less crowd as compared to evening in the afternoon. After 8 o clock the crowd start moving into the Taj Mahal, but in peak season ( November to February) you will find many foreign tourists in Taj Mahal during sunrise and set.
3. Foggy weather- The Taj Mahal is totally a white building and in month of December to January you will find lot of fog in sunrise time. The fog remains sometime till 11 am. Make sure before visiting you must check the forecast otherwise visit Taj Mahal at sunset. The Taj Mahal remain closed so sometim people doesn't get much to stay till sunset so they goes. In the morning hours. So before planing to go make sure you have selected the right day and time.

Being the most visited monument of the world and it is the first wonder of the world the Taj Mahal there are lot of restrictions to enter in the premises of Taj Mahal. To step into the taj Mahal is also a hard trick.

The entrance ticket of Taj Mahal for foreigners is 1100 RS per person and for children upto to age of 15 is free ( carry the passport of children if you are purchaisng a free ticket before entering in the taj Mahal
The ticket for for SAARC countries resident is 540 and ticket for Indians is 50 RS

7. Ticket for Nigtviewing :- Night viewing of Taj Mahal is available on five days in a month i.e. on full moon night and two nights before and two after the full moon. Tickets are available 24 hours (1 day) before Night Viewing of the Taj between 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. at Archaeological Survey of India (A.S.I) 22, Mall Road, Agra.
For purchasing the ticket I recommend to contact a local agent for more convenience, the agent may charge the commission for purchasing the ticket. All you need to provide your passport scanned copy and visa. There are 8 slots of half hour each. In each slot only maximum of 50 people can enter once.
The entrance tickets of Taj Mahal moon light night viewing are as follows.
Note :- The ticket can be purchased 24 hour before the moonlight viewing of Taj Mahal.
The Night Viewing of the Taj Mahal is closed on every Friday & in the month of Ramzan
To enter in taj Mahal during night view use only Eastern gate which is situated near shilpgram Parking

Best Spots for Photos :- Once you Reach Taj mahal you will find many Professional photographers appraoching towards, all of them work on daily routine Taj mahal and they knows the best angle for clicking the photos. If you are really fond of photos Hire a a professional photographer inside in taj mahal. There are numbers of sights in taj mahal from where you can capture taj mahal, one of the best place is Mosque and Royal guest house.
If you are visiting taj mahal during Sunrise time then take the photos from the mosque you will get beautiful images with different colors background of light.
If you are visiting taj mahal at sunset then take photos from Guest house which is situated at the right side of the taj mahal.
Lady Diana Throne :- The most busy point in taj mahal is the Lady diana throne where you will find number of people standing in a que for capturing the pictures, This Throne has became famous after the visit of Princess Diana soon onwards all the VIP took the photos from this point. If you visit taj mahal don't forget to take photos from this point.
Reflection in water :- In Taj mahal you will find Gardens, The white Marble, and fountain people believe that it is a design of paradise, all these three elements make the taj mahal more beautiful. If you peep in the pool and other drains of fountain you will get a wonderful reflection of Taj, you can capture the reflection of taj mahal too.
